UK author Paul Allen's third book The Ethical Careers Guide: How to find the work you love is now available on Amazon. When Allen started his career, there were very few resources that gave him consolidated advice about how to embark on a value-driven career. His latest book does just that, helping readers go through a soul searching process and explore the different career options available to get there.

The Ethical Careers Guide also highlights stories and advice from sustainability professionals in a variety of industries and sectors. Allen interviewed me in March 2016, and I shared lessons I learned after working for a number of environmental organizations and becoming an overnight social entrepreneur. Not everyone can or wants to work in a formal sustainability role, and in my interview, I explain how young professionals can incorporate their values in traditional business roles.

If you're looking to transition to a career that aligns with your personal values or are curious about how you can bring more of your values to your current job, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of The Ethical Careers Guide. Demystify the process. A new career might be just around the corner!
